The Southwest Georgia PBA is a community-driven organization of private landowners, professional burners, and conservation stewards that can help you learn basic and advanced techniques of applying prescribed fire, as well as assist with coordinating cooperative prescribed burning among PBA members.
Learn 2 Burns are events that help individuals become more comfortable with the practice of prescribed fire. These events are for anyone who wants to become a better practitioner of fire and to meet your fellow neighbors, professionals, and conservation advocates!

Quarterly Meeting and Course: Economics of Prescribed Fire
Please join us for the first meeting of 2024!
Immediately following the meeting, we will host a workshop introducing some of the econimics behind prescibed fire in 2024. We will cover topics such as wood quality, land value, volume studies and some of the basics of silviculture.
